How we started
R. Jason Griffin’s journey began in both business and law. After building and managing a successful mortgage bank across three states, Jason saw firsthand the value of practical advice, clear planning, and responsive counsel.
With a law degree and MBA from the University of Houston, he set out to create a law firm that’s accessible, innovative, and invested in client outcomes—combining business acumen with legal insight.
Today, Griffin Law Firm serves clients across Texas and beyond, helping them grow, protect, and transition what matters most.

Meet R. Jason Griffin
Attorney & Managing Member
Jason Griffin is an entrepreneur’s attorney—combining years of business experience with legal expertise to help clients build, protect, and actualize what matters most. Licensed in Texas since 2006, Jason holds a J.D. and MBA from the University of Houston and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
Before founding Griffin Law Firm, he led a multi-state mortgage bank and brings that real-world insight to every client relationship. Jason is known for his clarity, creativity, and genuine partnership—serving as a counselor, strategist, and advocate for business owners, innovators, and families across Texas and beyond. His counsel has proven invaluable when his clients have had to make those big or hard decisions.
